Hydro Spa of Clearwater, Florida went out of business, but there are still many working models in the field that need parts and supplies. These were also sold through Costco. If you need discount Hydro Spa parts online in the U.S. or Canada, some of the most requested items are: heaters, pumps, filters, covers, jets, air controls and spa packs. Fortunately, all the manufacturer does is source third party parts for the manufacture of their spas, so these parts are still widely available even though the actual hot tub manufacturer has gone out of business.
Hydro Spa models had names like Aurora, Comet, Desire, Endurance and also model numbers like HL524, HL532, HL860, LE630, LE742.
Many Hydro Spa pillows are still available.
Hydro Spa filter types are indicated on the blue end cap of the filter. The number can be cross-referenced with other filter manufacturers, so for instance a Pleatco PGS25 is the same filter as a Unicel C-4324 or a Filbur FC-0187. By identifying one of these numbers from the end cap on the actual filter, you won’t need to measure the filter size. Alternatively, you can order by measuring length, width and diameter noting any unique end cap configurations. Many Hydro Spas used a handle on one side of the filter instead of a hole that goes all the way through, so you need to replace the filter with same type. This is why reading the number off of the filter is the easiest way to find a replacement.
Note if your filter just has a hole going all the way through the middle or if it has ropes, end caps, threaded connector to connect to a pipe etc..
The Surface Area (SA) of the filter paper is given in square feet. For the same size filter you may be able to get both a 25 sqft. and a 50 sqft. filter. This just means the 50 sqft. filter has twice as much filter paper or media than the 25 sq.ft. one. So there would typically be more pleats. More surface area = more cleaning and filtering ability. For a larger spa, it is better to get a filter with more media if it is available. Square footage of a filter has nothing to do with the actual filter size, but just means how much filter paper there is in the cartridge for filtration.

Hydro Spa parts and accessories are best purchased online. Electronics in some of the units included the deluxe digital system. A circuit diagram was located on the inside cover of the spa electronics box. These electronics also produced error codes on the topside control panel for easy troubleshooting. Hydro Spa Mark iii and Millenium parts are also available in addition to z40, Vitalizer and others. Those with the Endurance model seem to require alot of parts in our experience.
The Endurance hot tub is a 79″ round, 34″ deep spa usually shipped with a quarite shell. The pumps used a 2″ union connection to the spa plumbing.
HydroSpa Mark III series was also sold in Europe. The electronics pack is accessible by opening the door panel screws on the spa cabinet. This is also the access to replace the spa light bulb and access other components.
To replace the filter, open the filter housing clockwise and remove the filter assembly, then you will find the filter cartridge. The older Hydro Spa panels used Balboa controls. Knowing the balboa control number allows for easy shopping for a replacement control online. These topside controls just plug into the circuit board directly.
Pumps used were usually high-flow 220 volt spa pumps. Some units also used a 24 hour circ pump inline with the spa pack. Service valves were slice valves that allow the servicing of the spa without needing to drain it, but these valves can either get stuck or leak, so may need replacing also. LED light bulbs were installed in place of the standard white spa light on some models. These light bulbs are also available.
The ozonator would last about 5 years or so before needing replacement.
